The MEGAWATTHAUS stands on a historic site. In the years from 1915, what is now the most modern and largest lignite-fired power station in the world with an output of up to 470 MEGAWATT was built there.It is located in a quiet side street and has an unobstructed view to the north of the former power station site and today's Museum of Technology.3km to Gräfenhainichenapprox. 10-15km to Dessau, Wittenberg, Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Bad Düben and Bad SchmiedebergThe house consists of three levels.The ground floor with living room (55-inch Smart TV, cosy seating area, free WiFi, small library and triple extendable dining table), bathroom with shower and kitchen is heated with underfloor heating.The kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, fridge, coffee machine and more - you can have a good time hereUpstairs there are two bedrooms, each with 180x200 beds, and a large guest WC.Mosquito screens are fitted in front of the windows on the upper floor.In one room there is a desk for homework, home office, further education etc.There are two rooms in the basement. Two stackable beds (90x200) can be placed separately in both rooms or together in one room as required.The conservatory is ideal for relaxing, eating, chatting and reading, especially in the transitional seasons. A large electric sunblind protects you from the sun's glare and creates a pleasant atmosphere.Behind the conservatory is a small paved area that is ideal for barbecues. Next to it is a small wooden hut for storing bicycles and other leisure equipment.Staircase with illuminated steps, light is adjustable (permanent or motion detection)You can hire bikes from the "Radverleih Dübener Heide" bike hire company!In the village there is a bakery (200m), Netto (1km), Aldi and REWE (2km).On the western edge of the district (800m) is the Zschornewitzer See, popularly known as Gurke, where the Zschornewitzer Ruderclub trains and where you can also go swimming.
