This magnificent villa is located 400 metres from the beautiful town of Cortona, one of the most beautiful and famous towns in Tuscany.This elegant villa is situated in a splendid panoramic position, surrounded by typical Tuscan countryside and olive groves, in a perfect location for a pleasant and relaxing holiday, but offers the advantage of being only a few minutes' walk from the town centre.The property consists of two independent villas 50 m apart, which can accommodate up to 12/15 people. Each house has its own swimming pool (approx. 8x4 m, open from May to October) with panoramic views over the Val di Chiana and the beautiful church of Santa Maria Nuova. The main villa has an infinity pool, while the dependance has a beautiful pool with a Roman staircase: the perfect place to enjoy the landscape 'Under the Tuscan Sun'. Other facilities include parking, barbecue, washing machine and dryer (extra charge). Wine and olive oil tastings, breakfasts, lunches and dinners, and cooking classes are available on request.The 270 m² main villa can comfortably accommodate 8/10 people (four double rooms, with the possibility of adding a single bed in two rooms) and is equipped with every comfort (air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi Internet, radio/CD/DVD player, safe). In the basement there is a large living room with a fireplace and a toilet. On the ground floor there is a fully equipped kitchen (oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave, coffee machine, etc.), a living room with dining area and two double bedrooms with wonderful views (one with en-suite bathroom with hydro-massage shower and the other with en-suite bathroom with bathtub, as well as a bedroom with Turkish bath with shower). On the first floor of the villa are the other two double bedrooms, both with panoramic views, and have en-suite bathrooms with hydro-massage bath and hydro-massage shower. Hairdryer available. Windows with mosquito nets.The 65 m² outbuilding is a charming detached house on two floors and can comfortably accommodate up to 4/5 persons. It consists of a living room with a fireplace (possibility of adding a single bed), a fully equipped kitchenette and a mezzanine with a bedroom that can be either double or twin. One double bedroom, one bathroom with shower. Facilities: air conditioning, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, radio/CD/DVD player, safe, hairdryer, windows with mosquito nets.On arrival you will receive a welcome basket with homemade products:- Welcome basket (fruit and vegetable basket, milk, water, soft drinks, American coffee, espresso capsules, sugar, salt, pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, paper towels, baking paper, foil, cling film).In Cortona, just a few minutes' walk away, you will find shops, restaurants, museums and numerous works of art.
