The apartment is in Split, the second largest town in Croatia, in the heart of Dalmatia, a region with a long history. The town is surrounded by hills and many islands and has a mild climate with many days of sunshine. The accommodation is in a quiet residential district near the old town by the beach.The 23m² roofed terrace affords a wonderful view of the sea and the surrounding islands and has a big wooden table with two wooden loungers and a stone wall with flowers. It has two bedrooms with a comfortable double bed and three single beds. The living room has a sofa bed and the open kitchen is in a retro style and fully-equipped with a hob, oven, fridge, freezer compartment and kettle. A dining table with chairs, a flatscreen TV, a safe, wireless Internet access and air conditioning are available. The bathroom has a shower and a washing machine. There is also a separate toilet.The pebbled beach is just 30 metres away and so you can spend the day swimming, fishing and enjoying other water sports activities with the family and children. You can find many restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as a children’s playground, in the immediate vicinity. Various public events are held in summer, such as music festivals, the summer of culture and folk dancing. Active holiday-makers can go jogging, climbing on natural cliffs, on diving tours, windsurfing and rafting on the Cetina River. You can visit the ancient Greek ruins near Salona. The airport is about 27 kilometres away. It is 16km to the harbour which offers days trips by boat. Krka National Park is 65km away.
