Situated in front of the Duomo (where the baptismal font called "Pieve", which gives its name to the town, is kept) from the flat you can enjoy the view of the "movida" venues that line the streets below and the Piazza Plebiscito, where the main events of the "Estate Pievese" take place, starting with the "Infiorata" in honour of San Luigi Gonzaga (patron of the Terziere Casalino); The "Palio dei Terzieri", which takes place during August; "Zafferiamo" an event that evokes the traditional use of the noble spice saffron for use in both food and fabric dyeing. During the winter holiday period, one can visit the 'Presepe Monumentale' (Monumental Crib) in the basement of Duke Ascanio Della Corgna's palace, each year inspired by contemporary social themes. In spring, there is the 'Mostra Mercato' (market exhibition) of typical agro-food products during the Easter period, when 'I Quadri Viventi' (living paintings) on the Passion Death and Resurrection of Christ are reproduced in the basement of Palazzo Orca.
