It lies in a gentle bay. The fine sandy beach is followed by the hinterland with fields, wild roses and the Kellenhusen forest. Here, the mixed forest with its predominantly oak and beech trees (1000-year-old crown oak), the nature trail, cycle paths and hiking trails offer a wide range of opportunities. The new, sand-coloured promenade offers a relaxed stroll with a view of the sea. It guarantees a good mood with its adventure zones (water features, the 'observation steamer', the barbecue and children's play facilities... and the picturesque plant islands. You can indulge yourself or do a little shopping in the neat little restaurants, cafés and shops right on the beach.
