The second terrace, the barbecue terrace, can be reached a few steps further across the courtyard. The Mansholter Holz nature reserve is just a few hundred metres away. The city of Oldenburg with its lovely cafés, shopping facilities and museums is just as easy to reach as the nearest beach and the sea. In between, you will find numerous excursion options on foot and an extensive network of cycle paths through the green Ammerland parkland.
