Holidays in a listed building combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. Part of the park is open to the public, the villa garden is for the exclusive use of the guests.Important addition: The "Villa Elfenau" is a historic house, a listed building. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, we would like to point out that certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not comply with current standards and could be a potential source of danger. The former fish ponds are not entirely safe for children. Access to the roof terrace is not permitted as the parapet does not meet current safety standards. The tenant is aware of these circumstances.
