Villa Paasirinne offers an excellent setting for a holiday or remote work in a magnificent log villa near the amenities of Toivakka, on the shores of Lake Leppävesi in Central Finland. Located 40 km southeast of Jyväskylä, Lake Leppävesi is just 30 meters away, with a shallow dredged sandy/clay bottom and a rowboat available. This impressive log villa was built in 2018. It includes a spacious living room and combined kitchen/living room with extensive south-facing views over the courtyard and lake. The living room enjoys sunlight from morning to evening and can be cooled if necessary. It features a fireplace and a sofa bed for two. There are 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with two separate 80 cm beds. An additional guest room offers separate beds for 2. The villa also includes an entrance hall, utility room with shower, iron and ironing board. The sauna is wood-heated. Two glazed terraces are accessible from the kitchen and utility room. All areas have underfloor heating (geothermal), a heat pump for cooling in summer, and mechanical ventilation. Internet is provided via fiber optic. At the lakeshore, there is a patio with sun loungers and a gas grill. Child equipment for two children is available for an additional fee, including a crib, travel cot, high chairs, and potties. The usability of Villa Paasirinne A's swimming area varies due to lake level regulation (fluctuation min/max about 1m by the Environmental Center/Electricity Company). The shore was renovated in autumn 2019, with sand added, making it suitable for small children and, further out, for proficient swimmers. In winter, there is an opportunity for ice swimming, with a de-icing pump at the pier. To enhance swimming conditions, there is a beautiful round swimming pool at the shore, with a diameter of 12 m at the water's edge and a depth of about 1.2 - 1.6 m in the center. The pool edges are stone-paved, with a sandy bottom and stone steps leading in. The pool is filled with lake water, circulated by a pump, providing a sheltered swimming spot for proficient swimmers. The grill shelter is available year-round, equipped with electricity and an open fire pit with a grill grate. From spring to autumn, a gas grill is available on the patio. The lakeshore also features a campfire and smoking area, as well as a badminton net. There is a possibility to charge electric cars (with the guest's own cable), with 220V 16A and 380V sockets. 2 days of use are included in the rental, with longer use to be arranged with the owner. The rental includes 1 SUP board. Additional SUP boards and a 2-person kayak are available for rent from the owner. The guest room is 14 m², with 2 separate beds, underfloor heating, a bathroom with a shower (with folding shower walls), a mirror cabinet, and a toilet, along with ample closet space. The guest room is located in an outbuilding within the yard, with its own entrance. Equipment includes linens and final cleaning. The use of the guest room is an additional service. DESCRIPTION OF THE SEPARATELY RENTABLE HOT TUB: A hot tub is available at the property, located next to the terrace by the sauna, suitable for 6 people and wood-heated. The hot tub's usage limit is -15°C. If booked in advance, the hot tub will be filled and heated for the agreed arrival time. It can also be reserved during the stay. The owner will fill the hot tub at the desired time and provide usage guidance and written instructions.
