Holiday by the sea and to explore the regionThe flat was completed in 2016 and is ideal for up to four people. The spacious kitchen-living room includes a kitchen and dining space and a cosy living room. The cooking area consists of a modern dining table with chairs and a generous kitchen with a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave oven with a cooking function, toaster and fridge-freezer. The lounge area offers a modern and very comfortable sofa bed (130 x 190 centimetres), armchairs and TV with a DVBT antenna. There is also a usable fireplace (order firewood by reservation, or buy locally), perfect for cosy evenings during the colder season. The bedroom has a double bed (180 x 190 centimetres) and bedside tables, as well as a wardrobe. A single bed can be added for a fifth person. The bathroom has a shower cubicle and washing machine. The flat has radiators and the bathroom has a fan heater. There is no air conditioning, as the flat is pleasantly cool even during the summer months, due to being located in the basement. Fans are available. There is no Internet connection.The flat is located in the basement of a private residential house in the centre of Cardedu, a picturesque village on the east coast of Sardinia.The owners live in the same house. Rubbish is separated in Cardedu: the flat has several bins for plastic, paper, glass, organic and general waste. The bags have to be disposed of in respective bins at the end of the street. Cardedu has several shops, a cheese factory and restaurants. It is at the foot of the Tacchi nature reserve in Ogliastra. Jerzu, the town of Cannonau wine, and the port of Arbatax are only a 15-minute drive away. There are boats from there to the beautiful bays of the Gulf of Orosei. You can enjoy various water sports on the beach at Cardedu, such as kite surfing or water skiing. It is also possible to go hiking, cave exploring or go-karting.In the municipality of Cardedu there is separate waste collection, the customer has to sort the waste (paper, plastic, glass, wet, aluminium, and undifferentiated). Wet and undifferentiated waste must be displayed outside the flat, on the days specified in the waste calendar, with the entire container in a closed envelope.Cars can be parked free of charge on the street in front of the house.
