This comfortable holiday flat in a wooded area for 2 to 4 people is located directly on the traditional Marsfeld. This is where Hans Grade, the first German motorised flight pioneer, flew his circles, built aeroplanes and trained pilots. Today, only a few buildings and a museum bear witness to Grade's work. The old Mars Field was generously parcelled out in the 1920s and has given way to residential development. The flat is centrally located in Borkheide, approx. 500 metres from the train station (RE7).From the living room you have access to the furnished terrace in the green garden.The cosy two-room flat with kitchen and bathroom is located on the ground floor in the landlord's house. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, washbasin, WC and washing machine. In the modern kitchen you will find a sink, dishwasher, cooker with ceramic hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, crockery and seating for 2 people. In the living room there is a cosy couch (can be folded out for two more sleeping places if required), satellite TV and a dining area for 4 people. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating and electric blinds. If required, a cot and an adjustable high chair are available.Trains run hourly to Berlin (about 45 minutes to Berlin Central Station) and to Dessau. The distance to the A9 motorway is approx. 6 km. Shopping facilities (two supermarkets, bakery, butcher) and restaurants are available in the village. The R1 European cycle route runs through the village. The European Cycle Route runs over 3,600 kilometres from Boulogne-sur-Mer or Calais in France to St. Petersburg in Russia. From mid-May to mid-September, the Borkheide forest pool, a chemical-free natural pool, invites you to relax.
