The expanse of the valleys, the favourable geographical location and the high proportion of forest (70%) give Bad Herrenalb a consistently mild climate and thus the title of "climatic health resort".The town offers a varied programme of cultural events.Other sports and leisure activities : Climbing:There are two rock groups in Bad Herrenalb. The lower group belongs to the Kullenmühle district. The upper group, the Falkenstein, is situated on a hill between Kullenmühle and Herrenalb.The rock is porphyry, wonderfully rough, but sometimes brittle. Climbing on the rocks is possible almost all year round.
