Maximaal 3 huisdieren/honden toegestaan. The comfortably furnished holiday flat Manslagt, which also has a loggia with extensive views, is embedded in a lavishly restored Gulfhof. The spacious property is in an absolutely secluded location, surrounded by fields, between the districts of Campen and Upleward, to the west of Emden. Cycle paths run through the entire municipality and the seemingly endless expanse of East Frisia, the Campen lighthouse and the Wadden Sea National Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site) are right on the doorstep. Thanks to its quiet location in the countryside, just one kilometre from the dyke, the property is particularly suitable for nature lovers as well as families with children. The "Gulf", i.e. the centre section of the barn, has been converted into a large "village square" with a gallery above, which can be reached via a large flight of steps. In the village square you can end the day with a cool beer or a glass of wine in the company of nice people. In the "Gulf" you will find other usable rooms. These include the children's playroom and the communal table football room. A car parking space is available directly at the house.Access to the Manslagt holiday flat is via the elaborately constructed gallery, which is located in the heart of the Gulf, the cosy barn wing. Your holiday home is a loft flat with a balcony, newly built in 2017, which has a living space of 77 m², but with its 23 m² of sloping floor space, it appears significantly larger. The modern design of the flat leaves nothing to be desired: You can expect a large living room with an open-plan kitchen, two double bedrooms, each with a TV, as well as a spacious shower room and a storage room integrated into the flat. The living room is extended by a loggia set into the roof, from which you can enjoy the vastness of East Frisia. In the living area, you can relax on the comfortable leather couch after a day out. The LCD flat-screen TV provides entertainment in the evening. The two double bedrooms, which are furnished with a 180 cm x 200 cm double bed on one side and two 90 cm x 200 cm single beds on the other, also have flat-screen TVs. Wardrobes and chests of drawers provide ample storage space for your travelling wardrobe. The dining table with six comfortable armchairs is located in front of the open-plan kitchen area. The kitchen allows you to cater for yourself comfortably and extensively, including a dishwasher, ceramic hob with oven, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, as well as the usual small electrical appliances (coffee machine, toaster, kettle), milk frother and numerous utensils. The bathroom is designed as a shower room with a large walk-in shower cubicle, towel dryer, WC and wash hand basin. The free Wi-Fi internet connection, washing machine and underfloor heating round off the facilities.Your holiday resort is located approx. 15 km north-west of Emden in the middle of the Krummhörn municipality with its 19 "Warfendörfer" villages, which can look back on more than 1000 years of history. This begins northwest of the old seaport of Emden and stretches directly along the coast from the Ems estuary to the picturesque holiday resort of Greetsiel with its famous twin windmills. The landscape is characterised by numerous gulf farms, historic windmills and lighthouses as well as salt marshes, the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park and countless small canals. The North Sea with dry beach and bathing facilities, as well as the Campen lighthouse are within 1500 metres walking distance. You can get fresh bread rolls in the nearby neighbouring village of Campen (approx. 1.9 km), right next to the agricultural museum. You will find the nearest shopping facilities in Pewsum, approx. 4 km away. Furthermore, a variety of everyday needs can be taken care of there (e.g. bank, general practitioner, etc.) Approx. 10 km to the west is the romantic fishing village of Greetsiel. An absolute tourist magnet. Numerous sights in the surrounding area are well worth a trip by car or bicycle, in addition to the panorama of the Krummhörn.The Gulfhof "Uplewarder Grashaus" was renovated and largely rebuilt in 2007/08 according to the latest standards. The barn wing (originally from 1803) and the main house (1849) were restored and extensively renovated according to many historical aspects. The history of the Gulfhof dates back to the 18th century. The total area of the barn is approx. 6000 square metres.
