Torre Da Bora is a panoramic tower, dating back to the 14th century, with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Sibillini Mountains, the Laga National Park and the Adriatic Sea. The tower is located in the medieval village of Magliano di Tenna, a few kilometres from the Adriatic coast and the city of Fermo. It has been so finely restored that it has been mentioned by the association Castelli Italiani. In particular, in 2002 the Italian Institute of Castles, on the recommendation of the Marche Section, decided to award the Torre da Bora with the Institute's Recognition Plaque as the best restoration of fortified works in Italy. The site, including La Torre Da Bora and part of the ancient castle, is composed as follows: First floor with entrance hall with staircase, internal well, cellar, living room, sofa bed, kitchen with balcony overlooking the Sibillini mountains; Second floor with a double bedroom, bathroom and two wardrobes; On the third floor there is a study, a dining room, another kitchen, another living room, a second double bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe; On the fourth floor of the tower there is a large living room for some relaxing reading or a chat, here there is a staircase leading to the 360° panoramic terrace at the top of the tower. The entire property is rented out exclusively. Our staff will not be present on the premises but will be available 24/7 for any of your needs. We are available to recommend experiences, activities of any kind according to your needs.Magliano di Tenna is a village that preserves all the characteristics of a medieval hamlet: the walls, the towers, and the block of houses overlooking the quiet alleys. We advise you to stop just before the boundary wall, in front of the belvedere of Piazzale Fidanza if you are travelling by bus. Going up the ramp, you enter the town square: on the left is the Parish Church of San Gregorio Magno, and in the ancient tower, recently restored, is the new Museum of Rural Civilisation. Then, through a typical alleyway, you reach the da Bora tower on the north-west side, the ancient entrance to the castle. Leaving the castle and continuing towards the provincial road, you will reach the Church of Maria delle Grazie. In the village is the Church of S. Filippo, which replaces an ancient fortress. You can get to the Torre da Bora from Porto San Giorgio, if you wish we can organise a transfer with a driver. Finally, to thank you for your trust, we will open the doors to the most evocative place in Palazzo Vinci Gigliucci, the Piano Nobile, once inhabited by the patricians of this illustrious family.
