Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model provides a double benefit: the monuments are given a revitalised future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building. The tenant is aware of this and treats the property with care. Although it is technically equipped to modern standards, certain functional details such as window and door openers, stair handrails and step heights do not meet current standards and are a potential source of danger. Particular reference should be made here to the narrow, steep outside staircase, which is a source of danger for people who are restricted in their ability to walk or for small children. The tenant is aware of these circumstances.
