Villa Gamma overlooks Kalamaki Beach (2.8 km) and is located in the south of Crete, just under an hour from Heraklion Airport (62 km). The south, which is well developed for tourism, is still considered an insider tip on the island by travel experts. The well-known and beautiful beaches of Komos Beach (6 km), Red Beach (9 km) and Matala Beach (8 km) speak for themselves. Matala was made famous by the hippie movement in the 60s and 70s. The famous Bob Dylan lived with other hippies in the caves of Matala and enjoyed the drop-out life. The town is still characterised by the hippie scene today. All these places, as well as the second largest Minoan palace in Crete after Knossos (Palace of Phaistos 4 km), can be reached in just a few minutes from Villa Gamma.Our holiday home offers plenty of space for couples, families with children and friends. With six beds in three bedrooms and a comfortable sofa bed, there is enough space for 6 people. The very well-equipped holiday home with a great kitchen, two bathrooms, a living room and free WiFi, offers as a highlight a play and leisure room on the lower level where you and your children can let off steam. The spacious terrace with barbecue and sea view blends uniquely into the landscape. The large pool offers fun and cooling on hot days.
