It is in the Laguna residence by the sea on the ground floor of a little house with just three apartments within this popular complex and consists of a living room with a comfortable sofa bed, a dining corner, a kitchen space, a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom with a shower, WC and window and a 10m² balcony terrace.Ostseeallee as a strolling promenade connects the two districts Kühlungsborn West and Ost and leads to the 240-metre-long pier and the yacht harbour, which has developed into a vibrant new hub with many little bars and cafes. A chain of one old villa after the other runs between the beach and the municipal forest. The Jugendstil facades have been carefully restored to their former pride and new buildings have been integrated successfully into the townscape. There are no highrises here looking down on Jugendstil villas. The longest beach promenade in Germany, 3km in length, runs past dunes, thatched cafes and playgrounds, inviting you to go on extensive walks, as well as the 133-hectare municipal forest right behind the beach or the Kühlung, a nature reserve in the inland area with its beautiful primeval nature. Other trip destinations include Heiligendamm, the “white town by the sea” (Germany’s oldest seaside resort founded in 1793 and ‘reopened’ in 2003), Bad Doberan with its famous minster or the seaside town Warnemünde 30km away– it is recommended to go for a stroll there along the ‘Alter Strom’ with its many little shops, restaurants and bars, as well as leisure boats.All shopping facilities are in the vicinity. The central location is also ideal for cafes, restaurants, a bank and many little shops, even out of season.
